The Flower Exercise

This tool developed by Richard N. Bolles, helps users find their strengths, values, and passions. It asks them to visualize these as “petals” on a flower. Each petal represents a different aspect, such as skills, working conditions, and interests. Filling out each “petal” helps participants see their true motivations. It guides them to make more fulfilling personal and professional choices.

The 6 Thinking Hats Technique

The 6 Thinking Hats technique is a great tool for group decision-making and problem-solving. It was developed by Edward de Bono, a pioneer in creative thinking. This method asks participants to view a situation from six “hats”: White (facts), Red (feelings), Black (caution), Yellow (benefits), Green (creativity), and Blue (overview). By switching “hats,” teams can explore ideas and make better decisions.
